It's not just about selling cars at Momentum Porsche.

Thousands found themselves without supplies or shelter after the storm, so Audi Central Houston set up an item drive. Several dealerships including Momentum Porsche contributed to the drive, dropping off food, fresh water, first aid, and other necessary recovery items.

While attending this year's club race, Jim Troxel mentioned that had I sold him his first Porsche in 1994.  His 968, complete with M030 sport chassis option, inspired him to become more involved with performance driving.  Since then, Jim's driving skills and desires have permitted him to both acquire and enjoy some more aggressive models.  At the time of purchase, however, Jim had no idea what a sport chassis was.  Apparently he liked the color of the 968.

West Texas News from the Road

Sensory Overload

Going for a ride is almost a lost art.  When was the last time you recall truly enjoying hour after hour of driving just for the fun of it?  Finding the right environment to challenge a high performance vehicle is typically limited to a race track.  Race tracks provide a relatively safe environment for spirited driving.  Should you miss a turn, there is generally a safe run off area.  Turns are repeated allowing for familiarity…

The Birth of the Ozark Tour (a road trip for you and your Porsche)

The January edition of Car and Driver in 1983 hit the news stands in late November of 1982.  This was C&D's first "Ten Best" edition.  In it, Larry Griffin wrote about the ten best roads in America.  Jack was the Sales manager of Giles Porsche in Lafayette, LA.
Arkansas 7 made this list and was within a day's drive of Lafayette.  Jack was inspired and soon recruited several local Porsche owners as…
