the brake pads and brake discs for signs of wear
Brake hoses and lines: Visual inspection for damage, correct routing and corrosion
Drive shafts: Visual inspection of the boots for leaks and signs of damage
Axle joints: Check play; visual inspection of the dust bellows for signs of damage
Hydraulically disengageable anti-roll bar: Check fluid level and function
Exhaust system: Visual inspection for leaks and signs of damage; check mounts
Tires, external spare wheel: Check condition and tire pressure
Lubricate door latch snib and fastening bolts
Windshield washer/wiper system, headlight washer: Check fluid level and nozzle adjustment; make sure to check the antifreeze during the winter months; check wiper blades
Seat belts: Check operation and condition
Vehicle lighting: Check operation
All headlights: Check adjustment
Horn: Check operation
Batteries and ventilation hoses: Check condition
Electrical facilities as well as indicator and warning lights: Check operation
Trailer coupling: Check operation
Airbag system: Check function and condition
During road or dynamometer test: Remote control, front seats, foot brake and parking brake (also operating travel), engine, clutch, steering, transmission, ParkAssist, automatic speed control, PSM switches, heater, air-conditioning system and instruments: Check operation
Oil, fluids: Visual inspection for leaks
* For Cayenne V6 models, oil change should be performed at least every 10,000 miles.
Additional Required Maintenance
Replace spark plugs (Cayenne Turbo, Cayenne V6)
Change brake fluid (every 2 years)
Replace tire sealant inflator (every 4 years)
Air filter: Replace filter element (every 4 years)
Check batteries for tire pressure monitoring system (after 4 years -thereafter every 2 years)
