  • Diagnosis system: Read out fault memory
  • Underside of vehicle and engine compartment: Visual inspection for leaks (oils and fluids)
  • Engine compartment: Visual inspection for damage
  • Underbody covers: Visual inspection for completeness, fastening and signs of damage
  • Change engine oil and oil filter (Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo) *
  • Check drive belt
  • Power steering: Check fluid level (Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo)
  • Coolant hoses: Check condition (Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo)
  • Radiators and air intakes: Visual inspection for exterior soiling and blockage
  • Coolant: Check level and dilution
  • Brake system: Visual inspection of the brake pads and brake discs for signs of wear
  • Brake hoses and lines: Visual inspection for damage, correct routing and corrosion
  • Drive shafts: Visual inspection of the boots for leaks and signs of damage
  • Check tightness of screw connections on the suspension adjustment system at the front and rear (this only applies to the first service)
  • Tires, external spare wheel: Check condition and tire pressure
  • Windshield washer/wiper system, headlight washer: Check fluid level and nozzle adjustment; make sure to check the antifreeze during the winter months; check wiper blades
  • Vehicle lighting: Check operation (Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo)
  • All headlights: Check adjustment
  • Horn: Check operation
  • Batteries and ventilation hoses: Check condition
  • Electrical facilities as well as indicator and warning lights: Check operation (Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo)
  • During road or dynamometer test: Remote control, front seats, foot brake and parking brake (also operating travel), engine, clutch, steering, transmission, ParkAssist, automatic speed control, PSM switches, heater, air-conditioning system and instruments: Check operation
  • Oil, fluids: Visual inspection for leaks

* For Cayenne V6 models, oil change should be performed every 10,000 miles.

Additional Recommended Maintenance

  • Change brake fluid (every 2 years)
  • Air bag maintenance (every 4 years)
